In this paper I analyze a set of recent experiences, still isolated and incipient, that have been taking place in the last few years in the activist field in Argentina, which explicitly seek to build bridges between free software and transfeminism. Taking the testimonies of the participants of these initiatives as the main empirical input, the focus is placed on the paths that they trace in this field in order to identify the aspects that favor a transfeminist appropriation of free software. In order to develop this argument, I initially propose an approach to the main features of free software and the nuances that this movement acquires in the contemporary scenario, specifically in relation to the issue raised here. Then I briefly explain the methodological framework of this work and of the research in which it is framed. Lastly, I present the results of the research, identifying a series of characteristics shared by the experiences and paths surveyed, particularly with regard to the forms of learning.
