This article analyzes the experiences of suffering in the face of violence in the relationships of high school students. The testimonies obtained in the framework of a qualitative study allow us to interpret that love bonds marked by humiliation, manipulation and physical abuse are processed through the generational and intergenerational ties that are woven in the school space. The relationships of mutual trust that are erected as a counterweight to fear, shame and loneliness, favor the development of a set of collective strategies to transform the situation of those who are being victimized.
