The present article of reflection about the ways of building knowledge in the university and the suggestions that it supposes in the configuration of subjectivities of those who inhabit it. Some questions are presented around who produces knowledge, what knowledge and what for. From there, an attempt is made to discuss with an exclusively utilitarian way of knowing and thinking about other possible alternatives. In this way, in dialogue with authors such as Sara Ahmed (2014), Lauren Berlant (2020), among others, and with some experiences that occurred at the National University of Entre Ríos, a way of generating knowledge is proposed that is not detached from the lives of the Subjects and that allow to make the university a true common of knowledge.
